Susan
E.M. Bartlett joined the clinical faculty
in 1975 after working in both hospital and public school settings. She
earned
her degrees at Elmira (NY) and University of Connecticut. Areas of
professional
interest include clinical supervision/education, communication
disorders in
young children through adolescents, and accent modification. Susan has
presented workshops, short courses, posters, and lectures at the local,
state,
and national levels on the topics of managing the university Speech
& Hearing
Clinic, child language assessment, and clinical education. Her past and
present
service to the profession includes holding offices and membership in
state and
national organizations, including Special Interest Division 11 and the
ASHA
working group on Quality Indicators in Audiology and Speech-Language
Pathology.
Presently, Susan is the director of the Speech & Hearing Clinic
where she
oversees the daily operations of the clinic and contributes to the
Clinical
Education curriculum of the Communication Disorders program within the
Department of Communication Sciences.
