Jennifer
is a 1998 graduate of the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont where she completed in B.A. in Communication
Sciences and Disorders. Jennifer then moved to Greenville, North
Carolina
where she completed her M.S in Audiology in 2000. She completed her clinical
fellowship with the Rochester City School District in Rochester, New
York where
she was an education audiologist. Prior to returning to pursue her Ph.D. in
neuroaudiology at the University of Connecticut in 2002, Jennifer was a clinical audiologist and
Instructor of Surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon New
Hampshire.
She provided a wide range of diagnostic audiometry and electrophysiological
assessments including ABR and DPOAE for newborn through geriatric
populations, intraoperative monitoring, ENG evaluations, hearing aid
selection and fitting, central auditory processing evaluations.
Jennifer
has been a PhD candidate at the University of Connecticut since the Fall of 2002. Her area of specialty is
central auditory processing and electrophysiology in both pediatric and adult
populations. Since her time at the University of Connecticut, Jennifer has generated several publications and book
chapters. She has also presented at both national and international
conferences. She has taught courses in both hearing science and audiology.
Additionally, Jennifer has been the recipients of a number of awards from
organizations such as AAS, AAA and ASHA.
