Help us understand the aging process!

Study:

 Narrative Discourse in Adults:

Normative Data, Age, and Executive Functions.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between age and aging related changes in language and cognition.

Time and Rewards: Participation in this study will require approximately 1 &1/2 to 2 hours and will involve cognitive testing and telling stories.  This can be done in your home or in our laboratory at UConn.  Subject identities will be kept strictly anonymous.  It will be rewarding to know that you helped further the understanding of the human aging process and the aging brain.

Participant Qualifications: All participants must be over the age of 18, with no history of the following: learning disability, neurological disorder (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorder, etc.) or congenital deafness.  Participants must be speakers of American English.
